Proper lederhosen have a bib arrangement, don't they? I don't dislike lederhosen. In fact I have a pair (somewhere in the house...kid sized....bought in Germany, maybe even Regensburg).

Kilts are totally different. They are definitely cool.

Braces - but they look better sans braces and younger blokes tend to just wear the shorts.

    :)

Oh, and kilts (possibly lederhosen too.....) are better worn with thick wool socks and chunky shoes like hiking boots/"caterpillar boots"

I think I'd be a little concerned about wearing a kilt around Labradors. Those cold noses .... well I'll leave it to your imaginations.

We’ve got to talk about something while we wait for news on @Emily_BabbelHund ’s first puppy visits!

I spent two summer holidays there on school trips. I got lost but felt I'd be OK cos I'd copied down the name of the street I was staying on, and I reckoned I could just ask the way. So I spent quite a long time going up to strangers and asking "Wo ist..." and pointing at this street name I'd written down. They all just looked confused, because what I'd copied down was "Einbahnstrasse".

    Not my finest hour.

It feels like we are in a waiting room right now, making random small talk, with the occasional snigger, whilst we wait for @Emily_BabbelHund .....

As we travelled through Germany my friend said “there are a lot of towns called Ausfahrt”. (It means ‘exit’ lol)

Trailer for the new Thor movie...

    Einbahnstrasse.

As an aside, I really like the name Ragnor for my next pup....
