Three years ago today our beautiful golden lab Cooper ended his earthly journey, and in the arms of his heartbroken family crossed Rainbow Bridge to Paradise. He was 13 and our first dog. Time has softened the searing pain of his loss, but no amount of time will ever change how much we love and miss him. Sleep easy old friend, until we meet again... What a gorgeous painting! Cooper looks wonderfully expressive. A sad day, but hopefully filled with wonderful memories x

He is missed so very much. The painting was done by a friend of my brother-in-law and was given to me at Christmas two years ago. It is the very best gift I have ever been given. The artist has Parkinson’s and the disease affected his right hand so now he paints with his left. He didn’t meet Cooper-it was painted from a photo, but he captured his character perfectly. Thanks to all for your kindness xx
