Age of first season?

Hi all,

How old was your female pup when she first came into season?

 

Mine was a couple of days off 11 months.

 

It’s not happened yet and she is approaching 11 months.

 

10.5 months.

 

11 months to the day, the second one followed at 17 months to the day.

 

Mollie was 11 months

 

Poppy was eight and a half months old.

 

Tatze was 9 months

 

Molly was 10 months.

 

Molly was almost 14 months.

 

Bramble was 12 months

 

Holly has just come into season at 7.5 months

So after thinking no then yes in regard to desexing my puppy, I think I've finally made my decision to wait until after she's had her first season...

Pleasantly surprised by my vet's more up to date thoughts on desexing.. Nice to have her support too.

 

It's great that you have your vets support, especially when it is evident to have put a lot of thought behind your decision
