It might be a spaniel, could I get him to think a spaniel is the best thing since sliced bread, I wonder?

A spaniel IS the best thing since sliced bread. No doubt about it. Tell him I said so. ;D ;)

So how would it work the other way around then? ;D

Dunno....um...tell her a second dog would make her thinner? (Unless your OH is Helen ::)).
    [/quote]
Oh yeah, and that couldn't backfire dreadfully ::) ;D

Cocker Spaniel pups are seriously cute. There's one at Obi's day care. It's adorableness on four chubby paws.

    I have a 5 year plan:
    - pay off mortgage
    - get bigger car (hubby bribe potential here)
    - get black male Labrador pup

I've never had trouble convincing OH that we NEED another dog. Another dolls house, that takes work. I say that he can spend the same on fishing gear. And one day, he might even do that.

Making him think another dog is his idea is always a winner as Helen says. And i can thoroughly recommend a springer cross, or cocker cross. :)
