What does everyone in getting their dogs (6mths-1yr olds) into the car? In regard to protecting bone growth?

I have to lift Red in - she is 11 months and last time weighed was 18.9kgs. I have a car harness with handles on it so use them to get her in position so I can lift her and protect my back as much as possible. I have a Mini so not a big lift but she won’t jump in of her own accord, same with the other car which is higher to lift. I will train her to jump in when she’s a bit older and I am more confident about her bone growth. She does jump out but I get her to stay until I can manage her jump properly.

I get Keir to put his front paws up then I lift his back end in. He’s so big he can just step out without jumping. :)

I do the same thing; front paws up, and then I hoik his back end in. Getting out I hold his collar with one hand, and sort of half lift him with my other arm around his body.
