So heres an update on how Otis is doing. Toilet training is still slow but a lot better, went to my parents for about ten days and seemed to have cracked it there but on returning home, it slowed down again, with quite a few accidents indoors, I dont feel to stressed about it though, it might take another couple of months but we will get there. He had his castration operation and this went well he came round from the op really quickly, have only just taken the damn collar off, and he goes for his last checkup next week. I didnt give him invalid food, which the vet said was okay, and he seems to have got through it all really well. Training , mmm some things are okay, he is pretty good with recall if food is involved, and does come when its not too, but not every time. He dosent pull to badly on the lead, and Im trying to teach him to walk to heal. He is a terrible theif, has manged on a couple of occasions to pinch kitchen knifes off the counter, he swiped a couple of uncooked cornish pasties my mum was cooking the other day too ! I am quite relaxed, so he seems to follow suit, he is a relaxed cuddly good natured dog. Still a puppy he is mischevios loves pinching stuff and being chased to get it back, have just this minute retreived a toothbrush from him. He hasnt come to any harm despite doing things like picking up broken glass in the garden, and trying to climb my steep stairs (he cant) . He has had some lovely walks, west wittering beach on a gorgeous sunny day which he loved, and bouncing through the long grass on the downs. I think he is going to like the water, just up to his knees at the moment. Adores other dogs, and always wants to play, put this down to good socialisation early on. I totaly love him !He is getting big now, and think he is going to be a big lab, long legs, and a very dark chocolate (his mum was chocolate, dad black) Will try and put some recent pics up soon .
