It's the cows again. New ones to negotiate so off she trots across the footbridge into the cow field and about half way across they go for her. She doesn't understand the call "Look behind you!" but she heard them coming (or is that herd them coming ;D) and legged it just fast enough so they weren't catching her, and over the style into the next field full of sheep. After I'd waded through the cows all crowded round the style, there she was as good as gold and the sheep hadn't budged. Well done small black dog, but I bet I have no end of trouble getting her to go back tomorrow. [Note to editor - Please can we have a "thumbs up" in the smileys?] 8)
Re: Small Black Dog Shows Coolness in Time of Adversity! oh my goodness, that's actually quite scary David!
Re: Small Black Dog Shows Coolness in Time of Adversity! She knows what to do and also knows they can't catch her, but yes I'd rather they didn't do it. Trouble is one lot of black-and-white cows looks pretty much the same as another group and this lot were not the usual "dog friendly" bunch but a new lot.
Re: Small Black Dog Shows Coolness in Time of Adversity! That's a nice idea, but I have no idea how to do it, or whether it is possible - I will have a chat with our techy chap
Re: Small Black Dog Shows Coolness in Time of Adversity! Lady definitely has an affinity with sheep......definite pattern is building up here
Re: Small Black Dog Shows Coolness in Time of Adversity! So , white is fine and black ( sheep ?) is fine, just not mixed together ? Its that horse David
