So I'm a little bit worried about Koda's unusually calm behavior the past 3 days and wanted to know what you think about it.

Koda is a typical rambunctious wild and some times devilish lab puppy. She is a little over 7 months old now and has been consistent in her craziness which I don't mind at all.

However, over the past 3 days she has been oddly calm as the title suggests. Meaning she is content waking up from her nap and laying or sitting near somebody whereas previously she would jump, nudge, bring toys over and try to engage the person in any way possible. Where as now she just seems to have less energy in general.

She still is eating fine, maybe even having an increase in appetite over the past few days, and hasn't had diarrhea or vomiting. I wouldn't say she is lethargic as she'll still chase a ball if someone throws it, play tug a war if you bring her something, and has no problems with her usual walks. However with her walks even when given free reign in the woods she walks more calmly then before where she would zip from side to side of the trail and basically be bouncing all the way with excitement.

So all in all I don't think she is sick because she isn't showing any real signs, and am guessing she isn't a mature older dog all of the sudden so does anyone have any advice or thoughts on why she is content with being a little more lazy recently? It isn't a bad thing but it has me a little worried she might be getting sick or that there could be an issue.

Echo the others - sounds like she may be coming into season.

She was spayed a little over a month ago when she was 6 months old...

Ironically in the past hours since Ive asked this she went swimming and had a zoomie for about 30 minutes when a friend came over so I'm not really sure what to think of it. I'm feeling a little more relieved after seeing that.

She definitely hasn't been her usual rambunctious crazy self the past couple of days so ill keep an eye on her just to be safe
