I started to watch YouTube for some tips to get ready when I get my puppy home. I watched 2 of Peter Caine's videos and I am not sure I agree with him, he is an angry person. Watched some of Zak George which seems to be good. Any recommendations you guys have for good trainers to get tips on YouTube? Thank you. ( I will take classes but not before the vaccination process is completed ).

I’ve never heard of Peter Caine, but I wouldn’t watch an angry trainer.

One of my favourites on YouTube is Kikopup. She (Emily Larlham) has masses of videos on every aspect of dog training, all trained with reward-based methods.

    Here’s one example:

    I second Kikopup.
Also Donna Hill, Grisha Stewart, Nando Brown (just for you @charlie), Glasgow Dog Trainer, Chirag Patel...

It depends what you're wanting to train. Kikopup is an absolutely brilliant place to start, though.

Agree with both, I like the way Kikopup videos for puppies, looking at the behaviours we want to instil in our pups from a young age, such as a calm settle, going to bed etc.. :)

Kikopup videos are very interesting, the only difference I do not think I want to use a clicker so I may change that for a marker.
