Two Socks is 7 months old, i have gone through a perfect fit harness and collar, a halt harness, and several other collars. she gets hold of the front and chews until it breaks in half! I don't know what to do or what to buy. I thought I heard of a collar that has a pocket for the tags? I see now that maybe only leather is going to work for her. Anyone have any ideas? no isn't left alone. she is with me at home, and when we go off leash to the park. i really don't know why she is so destructible on stuff. I just put the halt on yesterday and this morning. she chew right through the front . i am worried the tags will be lost by this .

I agree, she shouldn't be able to reach to do this. If you see her trying to chew, just distract her, but she really shouldn't be able to reach, especially a collar.
I don't leave the harness on while in the off leash park, but do leave the collar on. I wonder if the collar is to loose and slides down. I tightened it up leaving two fingers under it. I no longer have the harness since it was destroyed by the chewing. she loves to run and play at the off leash park and i will see how this works. she has come a long way and both she and I are learning. thanks to all of you here. it helps to have a place to be able to go to and talk about issues that are important to all of us. thank you again and Happy Thanksgiving to you all. puppy mom & two socks
