So today was the day that little Gwen went back to her owner. :'( I did everything I was asked to do with her and the chap who owns her was delighted how much she had come on in the last six weeks. She is an absolutely adorable and endearing little soul but she is also a fantastic hunting dog with that very elusive X factor that trialling dogs have. I reckon she will be out field trialling by the end of the year and she will go far. I shall miss her terribly, she gave the best little cocker cuddles.
Re: Gwen Oh no! Poor you. She looks just lovely - fab photo. Bet your OH is glad you haven't added her to your pack though. I so want a cocker (this week it's a cocker anyway) - they seem to have the massive advantage of being able to pick them up if they are getting in trouble or you need to take them through ticket gates on the underground. I suspect the advantage might come with the caveat "if you can catch them...." though. ;D ;D ;D
Re: Gwen She's so cute, and her great personality certainly came through in all your posts about her. Sounds like she's got a great career ahead. That's a lovely photo too
Re: Gwen Gorgeous wee thing. I was wondering whether she was still with you. Do keep us posted on how she does - I for one would love to hear is she "makes it to the big time" ;D
Re: Gwen Heidrun, Aw she is a little knock out. What a lucky girl she is to have had you help with her training. You are going to miss her without a doubt. Would love to know how she gets on in the future.
Re: Gwen Heidrun that's a lovely photo,I bet your friend is delighted and grateful....Dexter can do a really good impersonation of a spanner now,can he come and stay next ?Pleaaaaase? Great to see you looking so well too,are you feeling better? X
