Given my great love of black Labradors (any labrador in fact) and being a proud owner of them for twenty five years, I penned this book to share some of my stories. Although based predominantly around humour (and embellished a little at times for good reading), I feel I have covered a number of really important issues pertaining to dog ownership. We have all been familiar with welcoming a puppy in to our home but how do we deal with one who has allergies? For those of you who would be willing to take the plunge and read it I would be really interested in your views on it. I have written the book from the dog's perspective but the real aim is to let people know what owning a dog can really be like, the love it can bring into your life, yet the challenges it brings with it at times. I am sure, like me, you have eaten humble pie for your dog's misdemeanours at times! However, like me, you would never part with them for the world. (All funds raised from this book are going to Dog charities to continue their good work with dealing with rehoming, vet costs and addressing animal cruelty).
