Moo is sick sometimes due to her health issues. Rory is hardly ever sick but I know when he's going to be because he climbs onto my knee and smack his lips. I then take him out and he'll have a good heevhoo. This morning at 4.40am he jumped on to my knee and started the I need to go outside to be sick routine. I got up quick to take him out he stopped looked at me then at Moo, she was then violently sick.
    what happened there then?
Over the years Ive seen my dogs lie grass each other up sneak about and play jokes on me do I now have a vomit alert dog:rolleyes:

Isn't he marvellous? Clever Rory. That's so wonderful, I love it when they do things like that, somehow it says that they are different from us with amazing abilities to communicate that perhaps we'll never be able to pin down with science, for all the good things that that brings to us and them. All part of the mystery of sharing our lives with them!

Absolutely brilliant. I’m sure he knew Moo was about to vomit - probably a change in the smell of her breath.

    Well done Rory.

    I love that - a "Vomit Alert Dog" :D
You need to train him up to warn you when you are about to end up in the mud, swampy ;)

I do hope you are all okay today, you have had a bit of a run of things xx

Every now and then I realise that Pongo is not just asking for things or responding to cues but genuinely communicating with me, and it makes me smile so much!

It is so easy to underestimate our dogs. I am quite sure Rory was purposefully giving a message to you - he had figured out what needed to be done and figured out what he needed to do to get his stupid human to understand. Clever boy.
