Anyone else in here feel like they are addicted to this forum. I check it more than Facebook and want to reply to every post I read. Lol.
Off topic but kinda related, I just ordered the book “Mine” by Jean Donaldson. Amazon let me read the first 7 pages and now I have to wait till January to read the rest. Arrrg. Very interesting stuff.
I really can't stand Facebook (though I check it once every 10 days or so as I have a couple friends who only communicate that way) and for December I've decided to not read any news websites in an effort to de-stress myself. So the Forum is my last remaining addiction and I freely admit that, like @Rosie , I'm a "Foruholic". Well, I should say "last remaining ONLINE addiction". My love of pizza/Ben & Jerry's seems to be still going strong. Thank goodness for big winter coats.
I've found it useful and distracting in some difficult situations. I've never been in FB or any other sights. This one is fine and I feel comfortable talking to people and I don't normally do that. I've learnt a lot and met some really nice people and dogs.
I also have this syndrome ! Its been a place of laughter and tears, sharing problems , but most of all a place of support in times of need . Yep , I am an addict xx
Only non professional online profile I have. Then again owning a Lab is professional so all my online profiles are professional. Does that count?
As hard as I try to convince myself I'm not addicted I fail every time -- might as well admit it, yeah, I'm addicted Probably better for my health than other forms of addiction I may or may not be prone to --
