I'm new to your board but I'm a Labrador lover and have owned Labs my whole life. Way back I had some champion bloodlines litters but that was over 20 years ago. I'm in the market for a new female and I have my eye on a local one. I just received word that she has a hernia. The breeder says it's about the size of a dime so I'm not too worried but I had him send a pic just to be safe. Can anyone here with some experience just give the pic a once over. It looks like she has a small circle just to the left and up of the umbilical area.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I think it's really difficult to tell anything from that photo.
If your breeder is local, best thing would be to go and have a look yourself, maybe get some vet advice if you are unsure.
The vets opinion is likely to be the best advice you will get.

I would definitely be wanting a Vet opinion. If you’re still considering this puppy you want to know the cause and extent of the hernia, if any organs are involved, and whether it needs surgical repair. And you’d be wanting to talk to the breeder about who would be paying for that.

Otherwise, welcome to the forum :)
