    Excellent!!
OH's thoughts were that in our circumstances our vet would be careful not to put a foot wrong after an error!
Long may you stay free of vets Dexter ;D

Its great that Dexters a well dog, licks from Otis to Dex. Difficult about the vet, but sounds like your thinking it through, and will make the right decision , Maggiexx

Fantastic news Angela, as for the Vet you know if you can trust them so just thinking it through, which you always do is the best way to go, you will know what to do and trust your gut feeling, but she sounds thorough. Big hugs to Dexter :)

I'm so happy to hear this Angela! What a relief for you! :)

I have to say, several years ago I switched from a vet I had known and trusted for many years. She didn't notice that my old dog had a rotten molar, that must have been giving him a lot of pain. When I realized that, I switched vet practices without a backward glance and have never regretted it.

I think your vet acted in good faith and prescribed the medication that was necessary for the result of the blood test, she wasn't to know at the time that the equipment was (may) be faulty. So I would trust her in future, but I am concerned that the second blood test shows Dexters's low red blood cell count, again faulty equipment?

It seems good news however that Dexter is fine and that is the most important point.
