we got her saturday and had the runs since took her to vets yesterday who foud blood on the temperture thingy so gave her antibitiocs and speical food, she isnt intersted in the new food. added a bit of cooked mince to it tody and she picked out the mince. maybe she is still not feeling settled to eat or tummy hurting still.
Re: willow still not interested in food Ah bless her. It's a difficult time for them, big changes. If you're at all unhappy I'd ring the vet, and get their advice. Even if it's only to put your mind at rest. Hope she's feeling better really soon. I adore her name Willow.

Re: willow still not interested in food was at vets yesteday she was happy that she was alert and lively so they had no concerns, she is lively just not eating. yes drinking fine and will eat a bit if chicken or mince but if the dry food from vet wont touch at all, we plan to feed dry so really want her to eat that and not have to cook chicken and mince
Re: willow still not interested in food How about adding a bit of warm water, let it soak in. Maybe a bit more tempting for her? Makes sure she's drinking enough too.

Re: willow still not interested in food Hi. When my neighbour got her lab a week after me, her puppy wouldn't eat for just over a week. They tried different food, took him to the vets etc. He came into my house with my puppy to play and kept going over to her food bowl (it was empty!). I gave my neighbour some of Harley's food to try and lo and behold he ate a whole bowlful and has continued on this ever since. Sometimes it's just trying different foods. Will keep my fingers crossed that Willow eats dry food soon x
Re: willow still not interested in food Poor wee thing I am assuming she has been fully wormed? I know someone else's pup was really loose and it was a bad dose of worms. I think if it was me I would be cooking up chicken and rice, even if it doesn't achieve a quick settle onto your dry food. Hope she picks up very soon
