When can I take my dog on its first big long walk?

    All I can say is Lucky Baillie - sounds like he is going to have a great life with you - looking forward to hearing all your adventures. Going to start building up Nibbler for the hills next summer when he will be about 15 months - might see you out there.

    So we have hit 24 hour mark together and what fun we've had, I do have the right dog for me.

    Highlight was thinking it was a good idea to let the dog in our room when we went to bed.
    He then jumps up, tramples all over me while licking my face (I try not to encourage any licking) and in a flash he is under the cover and then jumps off the bed with the duvet draped over him.
    I could not stop laughing, which probably did not help the situation.

    Plan B, taken back downstairs to the room he as been in all day and he settled well on his own.

    The big ball of mad energy is now sleeping under my desk at my feet.
