Trying to stick to it but getting whined at constantly and keeps coming and dragging my sleeve and taking me to the kitchen . Looking at me - saying mum have you forgotten something. Actually speaking in whole sentences now.

Yes Pearl has hardly ever had her meals in a bowl since she was a puppy. Similar to you I put it in frozen kongs, sometimes into interactive toys that she has to knock out or lick out, or in 'find it' ( although not fully spread out always but still not close like in a bowl), and in training.

Bless you. Has Nibbler had a smaller lunch or no lunch? How is he now? And how are you?

He has had two meals - one at 8 and one at 4.30 - gave in to the nagging half an hour early. He had treats on walks throughout the day. He has now stopped talking - hope Timmy isn’t stuck in a well somewhere cos we ignored him as much as we could. He is settled now on the sofa - slightly in the huff though.

You have done what is right for you guys. Half an hour early is fine. I would do the same treats on walks too. I'm not sure why we worry so much about 3-2 meals but it's the behaviour that goes with it.
I'm concerned as Mason's last meal is at 6.45pm I will have to bring his tea forward by quite a bit I think! As breakfast is at 7am.
Timmy stuck in a well?? What literally?
Oh bless him I hope it gets easier. I'm here for you x

@ Emmahughes Clearly you are too young to remember Lassie films - google it-Timmy was always stuck in a well. Thanks -good luck whatever you decide -still getting sad eyes from the sofa.

Harley is 4 years old and still has 2 meals a day and has a tripe stick or dried fish skin around lunchtime after she's been out for a walk. It suits us to do 7am and 7pm as this is generally when we eat too.
