Absolutely. I'm adding it to my little pile of resources when my anxiety flairs up. I also am feeling so much better after all the love and responses from this forum. You are all truly wonderful!

Thank you! All these stories about other labs really helps calm my anxiety! My favorite is when Cassie gets the zoomies! She just looks so happy and free for a short time. Thank you again for taking the time to respond.

Thank you  Bramble is absolutely majestic and beautiful! Your household sounds like there is NEVER a dull moment.

Your comment made me cry a little, I have to admit. I was SO happy in that photo. I know that I just...haven't felt that same amazing happiness with Cassie because of my anxiety and it's not fair to Cassie. The past few days, after reading all these responses, I've tried to step back and just...enjoy her, and I've been having very good luck with that! We've been playing, training, and just enjoying each other's company. I finally feel like I might be getting to that point of happiness again, and it's such a great feeling. This forum has been SO amazing to me, and I'm so grateful. Thank you, THANK YOU.

 It's a wonderful feeling to know I'm not alone in the anxiety. Everyone's is so different, but I completely agree. The feeling of being a failure and out of control of my thoughts is the worst. No matter how many times I try to rationalize things in my head, my brain just twists it all around to the worst case scenario. I'm so sorry about your Mum, I can only imagine how hard that would be, and I'm sorry you've been dealing with anxiety. Sending lots of virtual hugs.

It's just so sad thinking she looks sad! But I think you're right, it's just how her face looks!

Thank you! He really was the most wonderful dog I could have asked for, and SUCH a lover. I miss him so much, but I'm excited for Cassie to grow into one of my best buddies. Thank you for taking the time to respond, it means so much to me!

Hello! Thank you so much! I truly appreciate all the support!

Glad to hear Cassie isn't the only one who is a bit impolite with her excitment and greetings. It's honestly SO cute...I just can't always convince house guests of that!

So, totally dumb, but I never even thought about the fact that she's just taking it all in and learning! I was putting makeup on last night to get ready, and I could TOTALLY tell she knew we were leaving. She kept scooting closer to me, then laid right in the middle of the hallway so we couldn't leave without passing her!

    Thank you!

You're absolutely right. I will be doing that, sooner rather than later. Thank you. It's very nice to know I'm not alone, and I appreciate you reaching out to me! Thank you, thank you! I'm sorry you dealt with such bad anxiety without support from your family! I'm glad you are able to spread the love and help others, this was exactly what I needed.

Hi @lara_b and welcome to the forum.
I'm with these guys above and would encourage looking at psychology or counselling support.
I deal with a lot of people with health anxieties and find one worry is quickly replaced by another, and "expert" reassurance isn't the answer, rather learning how to deal with uncertainty generally by yourself.
That's not to say we aren't here to help!
Just that it's important to deal with your anxieties.
Have you ever tried the Headspace mindfulness app?
