Aspen is down to 3 good toys, and we should probably get some more. We do the Kong, rubber balls, and ropes but what other toys do your dogs play with?

Looking over at the toy box , it seems to be full to the brim with soft toy animals , most with appendages missing and all minus squeaks ! Sam used to love his balls on ropes which don't interest Nelly at all , in fact she spends hours playing with her collection of liquid soap dispenser balls !

Our toy box is overflowing and Quinn plays with something new everyday (she digs through her box). One of her current favourite is this: https://www.kongcompany.com/products/for-dogs/interactive/genius/genius-mike/
I stick a treat in it and she bounces it around. I also buy the three pack of plush dog toys from Costco. They are fairly durable and she carries one around for weeks until she destroys it. She likes a tug toy made from fire hose as well. She has an assortment of chuck it balls that she bounces and catches on her own if we are busy.

George loooves the Kong Bounzer that he got for Christmas. He also loves ropes (we only take them out for play or they get shredded), large tennis balls, the Kong Wobbler treat dispenser and Benebones. Its hard to find things that he doesn't shred apart or destroy within minutes!

Have you tried the Kong Cozie range? They have a fine mesh liner which is really durable. W&S were toy destroyers but it took them a long time to destroy their first Tupper. :)

Mine has a toy box but prefers just the same two cuddly toys which he carries around all the time!

Mine likes cuddly toys, squeaky balls and balls on ropes. The Kong range of plush toys are quite tough as they have rope running through them rather than stuffing. I can't give Caspar a toybox, though as it is more fun than the contents and he tends to cause too much mischief running around with it.

There is a Soft toy brand called Tuffy that our dogs don't usually destroy, but they don't play with them as much unless we are involved, either throwing them or playing tug. They normally don't play with tennis balls, unless we are there to throw them. We have had several treat filled toys that they will work on. They love to destroy plush toys, so we buy cheap ones, and they get two each month with their "Bark Box"

We bought Maxx some expensive toys that he largely ignores. His favourite thing is a hard plastic empty juice bottle that he carries around banging into everything in order to make maximum noise. Next is a stuffed gorilla that belonged to our old cat (he used to drag it around the house so it probably still smells of him) and lastly a really bouncy rubber ball that he lunges at and chases.

That's Maxx in the pic....he was born on the 19th October last year and is about three times bigger than the puppy we visited at the breeder when he was 6 weeks old. He has probably almost doubled in size in the 5 weeks we have had him!

Bowie loves his Kong Jumbler. We normally play fetch and tug with it. It used to have a squeak but he quickly punctured it - which is probably better in hindsight as it's quieter now ;) - I used to hear him and his piggy squeaks from miles away :D The other toy is the 'high bounce' ball, which we call it 'Bouncy'. Hours of fun :)

Your Maxx looks so like our Caspar, born 26th October and now 9.5kg. He just looks like a mini Lab now, not so much a puppy. Our last Lab used to gather a cuddly toy under his chin and sleep cuddling it. The cutest thing!
