Brief update before I crash - I'm getting so behind on the photos again! Argh! The Labratour is steaming along faster than I am. I returned Bear home to the @Beanwood gang today. We celebrated his homecoming (or Kate's homecoming, or maybe just having Friday off) by going to a dog-friendly cafe in Chipping Sudbury. Bear and Casper came along and enjoyed their very own plate of sausages. Kate probably has some better photos she can add later, but I thought I'd get some up tonight to keep the Labratour rolling along. Looking forward to seeing all who are coming on the walk tomorrow! Mr. Bear's wild ride in the Tardis finally takes him back to Beanwood... "Oh, are those lovely sausages all for me?" "If I concentrate hard enough, the sausages will levitate off of the plate and into my mouth." 45 minutes later, hope still blooms... And finally, a teaser for Bear's day out in Wells and the beach (hint: Bear liked Wells but he LOVED the beach)...
Yes, we will be there with Bear and Bramble.. Just amazing photos! The coffee shop was such fun, with Bear seriously rivalling Casper with his "desperatelyneedsaysausage" expression
Oh, I'm so glad you got a good one of Casper! All my shots with Casper turned out looking like a black smudge. Clearly I need more 'black dog photography' practice.
Hi Phil - hope you can pick this up, I'm stuck at home this morning so can't join you! So sorry - have a great walk though. Thinking of you.
Today the Labratour reached the Forest of Dean and met with the SW pack. It was a bit drizzly but that meant there was plenty of water and mud for the dogs to enjoy. Once again a good morning out, and great photo's, thanks @Hollysdad for co-ordinating and I love the way you've set out the photo's of the girls, beautiful. @Naya, super photo's, I love the lost ball scenario! A very true representation I think!. Thank Harley for being so sweet with Cassie once again.
Thanks from me as well to Phil for co-ordinating and being our woods guide and to the ladies for coming out. It was a real pleasure to meet Cassie for the first time - what a nifty personality that one has! Also thanks @Hollysdad for the sightseeing recommendations. I ended up at Tintern Abbey and Caerleon. The Roman baths were my favourite - excellent for a rainy afternoon. Tomorrow I'm headed up north for a whistlestop to see Mags @Boogie and the all-grown-up-now Keir. Finally, a few more SW walkies photos:
