Good idea to have a container of styptic powder around when you trim nails. The last time we did Tilly's our back deck looked like we had slaughtered a chicken. I just cut one (black) nail to deep, but it looked terrible.
in Homer's 5 years walking on gravel paths and pavements so up until now his nails have naturally been short. But over the last few months I've been thinking they may need a trim, especially his dew claws. I did a search and found this thread and ordered the Miller Forge red handle clippers. It was so easy!
