My 14 week choccie has 15 toys, mostly squeaker, not including plastic water bottles. But tonite, we gave him a white plastic half gallon milk container.

OMG! He can only grab it by the handle and cannot get his mouth anywhere else. On a smooth floor he chases it wildly pushing it in front of him trying to grab it, and all the while it makes that drumlike vibrating sound. It goes up in the air. He lost it under the living room chair, and got himself stuck under the chair trying to get at it.

He's now gotten himself wiped and is asleep on his bed next to me, staring at the toy just out of reach.

Who knew? I could have saved all that money on squeaker toys. So funny!

Milk bottles were great - for a very short time. Power Chewer over here soon started tearing them to shreds  I used to chuck a few pegs in there too. OMG THE NOISE! But she had a lot of fun :D

Our boy can't go past empty 2 litre plastic juice bottles and does exactly the same as your little one Bettie. I think they like it because it makes maximum amount of noise, especially at 5.00am. The other favourite is an old tennis ball that our old Lab had. I agree, we could have saved heaps of money!

Yep, second this. Caspar loves a plastic bottle, but I have to intervene as soon as he gets the top off and in his mouth. Then he starts on the opening. At least they are disposable. The problem is we have our milk delivered in glass bottles and seldom have the plastic ones.

My 19 week old puppy is the same, he loves plastic bottles! Sometimes I take the lid away and put a few treats in a 2 liter plastic bottle and it keeps him busy for quite a while. As he can also see and hear the treats rattling in the bottle it adds to the excitement.

Another game he really likes which I don't quite get why he enjoys so much is when he has a plastic bottle he carries and I have another one that I kick and we just run backward and forwards, side by side, he with his and I with mine. Seems boring but I thinks it is one of his favourite games!

This was and still is one of Maisy's favourites, as well as toilet roll tubes and cardboard boxes which she likes to dig in.
It's the chasing she loves best as she cannot get a good hold on it and, as you say, it scoots around the floor.
I put treats in it as well but once she got the hang of it she didn't need any encouraging.

But as your pup gets older and more of a chewer, please be careful as they can easily tear these soft plastic bottles apart.
Maisy once nearly choked on a piece that she had torn off, this was when her adult teeth were growing though so you have a while yet.

Amber loves my empty sparkling water bottles. I have to wait close by until she gets the top off so I can take it away from her but then the real game begins. It gets thrown in the air and chased, makes wonderful noises when she chews it and rolls around when she noses and slaps it. A few treats inside and she is happy for ages.
    All under supervision of course.
