I greet always! Even when I am in town. We have a little recreation home in the woods. It is more common in the village as in town. In town everyone is surprised when I greet, in the village it is strange when you don’t greet each other
I always say hello or, if they are talking or have headphones on, I tend to go with the "skinny lip smile" . You know the one where you smile with your mouth closed and sort of nod at the same time.
