Just so you know. All good still. I think the sleepless nights issue is absolutely overcome. The crate worked wonders:D

Crates work great. Our puppy is now 4 months old, so he has been with us for 2 months(+3 WEEKS that he wasn't but wished he was). He was crated from Day one. Some whining the first week. Now he is on his own schedule. After his 10:00 PM Pee/poo, he demands to go to bed. He goes into his crate at 10:30 PM, whether we are in bed yet or not. He is still sleeping at 6:45 AM when "I" get him up for his Pee/poo/breakfast. Then he sleeps another 90 minutes while I do my morning devotions.

Crating made this happen. If he gets to barking at me for no reason that I can think of other than he wants mroe play, and I'm busy, I put him in his downstairs crate(about 8 feet from me) with a blanket in front so he can't see me, for about 3 minutes. He calms right down then and plays with his toys and when I'm done I take him for a 20 minute walk in the woods.

    Crates are wonderful.
