If she wasn't a choccy you could probably see the cm thick mud caked on her legs! The smaller dam at my parents place us just about dried up now so Ella likes to use it for mud baths
I was eating my breakfast and the dogs were playing, all sounded normal and I wasn’t watching them. I usually have excellent antenna for mischief. Not today! They’d been in the washing basket, emptied it and had been playing tugging with it, all over the kitchen (the same room I was in, nose in iPad ) Monkeys! .
whoops! I was getting my ribeye steak out to bring it up to room temperature, supervised of course. I fluffed it and dropped it on the floor, Coco darted and licked it, I called "LEAVE", Coco left it! Good boy. And he cleaned the floor up after I'd picked it up.
It looks as though shock collars are going to be banned in England. https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/pr...ockcollars-campaign-set-to-be-won-in-england/
The SPCA have been asking for volunteers to collect for their annual street appeal next week. Well, I put on my big girl pants and offered my services for next Friday. I don't have my exact location yet, but it'll be in a busy suburban shopping area. I'll probably need at least a week's worth of meal rations to keep Xena calm, but I think it'll be a great experience! Or a fiasco
Why are dogs just the best? I think I've got the norovirus My lovely best friend has sat with me all day and not left my side once. He wouldn't even go for a walk with nathan because he wanted to stay with me. He's such a good boy looking after his mam
Thanks everyone. Me and Stanners are not having much luck lately. I never get ill either, so I'm not coping very well. Haven't had a stomach bug for about 20 years and the way I'm going on you'd think I had the plague x
We all got noro last year, including Ella. It's horrible The only silver lining was that OH and I managed to get it on different days so that we took it in turns to look after Nathan. Hope you're feeling better soon
We've just been given a red weather warning for snow. Holly loves the snow and is going to go nuts on her walk. I must take a camera.
I'm feeling a bit more human today so I think I'll attemp to take Big Stan out for a play in the snow. Some fresh air will probably do us both some good and he'll love it!
It's really strange in some areas of Leicestershire people are snowed in and some it's completely clear.
Poor Stanley can't find anywhere to wee or poo here because the snow is too high OH has had to dig him a spot on the grass!
