He is very cute. Sounds like they are doing an excellent job. I can't remember, he was a rescue wasn't he? For which the lack of woods and mountains, when compared to a loving home, is nothing x
Daughter tells me he now weighs 16.8 kilos at six months - so he's going to be bigger than she thought! But he's a very good boy, well-behaved and well-socialized, full of life and fun, very affectionate. He is suffering from a yeast infection in his ears at the moment and sometimes gets gunky eyes, but generally is very healthy
He sounds like a fantastic pup and you sound like a proud grandma We never puppy proofed our house either and Harley has never destroyed anything she shouldn't.
Alto is around nine months old now: Very playful; very good with other dogs and loves to play wildly, but has excellent social skills! All in all a real success story.
Wow he's so gorgeous. Well done to your daughter Karen, she's obviously doing a fantastic job with him. x
Back from a week in New York and thought you might like a quick update on young Alto, who at 21 months weighs around 22 kilos. We think he must be a boxer cross, as he has the boxer underbite and general fun-loving nature. He's a real sweetie (and a terrible counter surfer; almost managed to get our steak one evening!) He is a much-adored pup.
He's so cute! Look at that lovely face. He clearly knows he's adored too.. look at that "yes I know I'm the best" face!
Aww, bless him... Lovely to know your warm feelings to him are reciprocated! I leave the house and the dogs don't even notice!
