So my dog is chewing his paws alot, I'm not sure what to make of it since he is very mouthy and chews everything basically. He doesn't scratch himself om the body very often but he sometimes scratch his eyes (??) A problem of his is that his paw is full of cracks (and using lotion doesn't seem to improve it bc he will only lick it off)

I haven't seen any other symptons I think? Maybe one thing I find rather odd is that whenever he is really tired his eyes gets a bit red but he has always been like that, ever since he was a small pup. Should I worry?

Hmmm, scratching of the eyes and the paws together sounds like it could be symptomatic of something going on. Eyes especially would worry me because of the potential for damage from scratching. I'd have the vet have a look.

Definitely a trip to the vet for a chat. Chewing of paws would give me cause for concern, particularly if eyes are causing irritation as well.

Dogs often chew their paws when they can't reach the bit that really irritates them

I see, makes sence! He will be one year on the 23rd of Mars so when I go to the vet to get his 3rd vaccination I could ask the vet to check him as well :)
