I have brought home today 2 lamb hearts because apparently dogs love it and they are full of nutrients. My only question is...how shall I cook it? How much to give? Have any of you given your Labs the same? Thanks x
Ripple has his lamb heart raw. He has one heart for his evening meal about once a fortnight - I do chop it up a bit as I have visions of him swallowing it whole if I didn't .
Gemma, you can cook it or give it to him raw - but just give him a little bit the first time, as it may be richer than he is used to and give him an upset tummy.
