At 10 months old Penny has reverted back to demanding my attention to the point where she is biting my feet..socks..shoes..trouser hem..sleeves..jumping up onto me..even when all has been dealt with..walks, food etc. To be honest its exhausting and frustrating. She doesnt seem to want to settle. I know she just wants to constantly chew and play and is a bundle of energy. At times i just want peace and quiet. Do they kinda go back a step at this age.. she is doing the kinda croco pup stuff she did at 5-6months (she doesnt bite to hurt).
@Jacqueline Mckendrick Harley did very much the same thing at the 9 - 10 month age. And it was worse because she was then much bigger in teeth and body than the puppy that was boisterous. It is the teens. Adolescence. It really is a thing for dogs too. Harley pushed boundaries but I she found her personality in more of a way than before so much as it was a pain in the rear (sometimes literally from a nip) I am glad we went through it. She jumped up and also tried to initiate bargy games all the time. Good luck.
I am watching her playing with a ball in a sock. She is loving it and the ball cant roll away so easy. I have spent a fortune on toys lol
Yep...similar with my dog... so you're not alone. She's just turned 11mths now. Our dogs must be similar in age...
Sounds like typical adolescence I’m afraid. The next month or so might be challenging and you will need to go back to basics with training, but it does pass much quicker than having a human teenager!
