I´m thinking in giving raw meaty bones to but I read that even given to the dogs the bones, brushing the teeths it´s more efficient. Do you that only metay bones is suficient?

Brushing their teeth daily is best! It's just like people. You don't have to worry about the insides. You can start with a finger brush or even a gauze square. It's best to position the dog with the back end towards you so they cannot back away. Start by just slipping a finger under the lip and rub the gums. When you're training you can do this and give a treat. Make it a positive experience! You can google some videos or tips and your vet may have a hand out or can demonstrate. NEVER use human toothpaste! Dog toothpaste isn't required but they usually like the flavor.

Yes. I brush Coco's teeth. He is the first dog I have ever done this for. Our old girl Belle had beautiful teeth for most of her life - she had large rawhide chews. Lots of people don't recommend these, but they certainly kept her teeth white. She stopped chewing them in her last year, and her teeth went vile. Coco rarely has them, but I brush daily with an enzyme toothpaste as recommended by his vet.

I use Logic gel, which comes with a small brush that fits on your finger. The dogs love the taste of it, so are happy to have their teeth brushed!

Another Logic Gel user here. My dogs get raw bones but they don’t keep the teeth as clean as using this toothpaste does. I used to use a different brand and they still got a bit of plaque. The Logic Gel is brilliant at breaking it down and my dogs all love it.

3rd vote for Logic Gel. Coco didn't get on with the finger brush, so we switched to a proper tooth brush - he was fine with that.
