I took Keir on the train to the service at Manchester Cathedral today. He was a superstar. The train was packed and the organ at the Cathedral reallly, really loud. He didn’t bat an eyelid, snoozed through the service and gracefully accepted all the admiration at coffee time. This is a photo of his sister, Kim. She looks lovely and her puppy walker says she’s a wonderfully calm, intelligent and affectionate dog. She sounds just like Keir. I wish they could meet, but they live too far away.
Love the photo inside the cathedral - what a great socialization experience for him. They are all special, but that Keir got a special dose of special.
Keir had his assessment walk round town today. He got 100% full marks and will be recommended to go into training at the next meeting. Good boy! He was part of a puppy boom, so although he’s on the list it doesn’t mean he’ll go in straight away - it will still be a waiting game. I’ve put myself down for a new pup in early July. Tatze says ‘they come and they go Mum’. But I will miss this one more than any other before him. The next pup will be number seven!
It feels as though you had Mollie for ages and Keir for such a short time. What a good boy he is though
