Thank you @selina27 - I have just been reading about the collars and jackets and will talk to our vet next time we go in. Sky looks much happier and behaving more like herself today so we are pretty sure it’s the higher dose of medication that was zoning her out. She is currently on the mid day walk - I think a bit too hot for her - but she was waiting by the front door so keen to go .
That's good news that she's up for her walk again. Hopefully she continues to feel more her old happy self.
This photo was taken of Sky on Saturday when I was really worried about her - she looks so old and weary. Those of you who have seen other photos of her will see what I mean. We have reduced her Rheumocam dosage back to what it was and she is much more like herself. (She is shedding her coat hence the brown patches in places)
She still looks beautiful and very dignified, although a bit weary. It's good to hear that she's improving on the lower dose now. Medication can be a mixed blessing at times.
She looks very regal in that photo, but agree she looks a bit out of it. I’m really glad she is picking up again x
