We drove down to the pet shop to buy a new harness and bumped into my friend who we walk with (& her dogs), another friend and my dog walker within a few mins of each other. It was the first time in days that she has gotten excited. I managed to stop her jumping up at them, but was so nice to see her tail going nuts. We done a short lead walk a few hours later and after less than 10 mins she started struggling - luckily we weren’t far from home. It’s so horrible to see her like this as she just sleeps and doesn’t want to play or anything at home :(

It's so hard to see our dogs not themselves. I really hope Harley improves very soon. xxx

When they don’t feel well, they are really down and ill. It’s so sad! I hope that the rest will do her good!
    :hug:To both of you!

Apologies, it’s been a challenging week or two. She seems to be ok with her hip/legs again, but still has a lump which has gone down, but is being monitored on a weekly basis. She is back to running around, but we are taking it easy Fingers crossedx

Very glad to hear that she is back to running around, but sorry that you still have the worry about the lump. Hopefully it will continue to go down!

Glad to hear Harley is running around again OK. Could the lump have been a reaction to an insect sting / bite?

We really aren’t sure to be honest. It’s quite large to be that though - approx 5cm long and 3cm wide. It has gone down as was bigger!

I'm glad Harley is doing better, but like you would be concerned about the lump... What does the vet think it is?

They think it might be swelling due to a knock, but I’m really not sure that I agree with that. I will try and take a photo later.
