Hello I just want to ask if someone knows what age the vaccination plan ends? or if depends of veterinarian
I think its very much up to the owner, to decide how often their dogs should be vaccinated . Most agree that the puppy ones , then the booster at 12 months , are necessary but after that , advice varies . Many Vets now say that every three years is fine , some say even longer than three years and some say every year . I would always advise that owners read up on this subject and then make an informed decision .
I´m refering to the puppy plan of the first vaccines... like parvo and others... i read that at 4 months I can already take the puppy in walks withoutu problems because the vaccination plan is already end and the puppy after that only needs one or two vaccines in the year
Our vaccination schedule depends on the actual vaccine used. Some of them are good for one year, some for 3 years. It depends on the manufacturer. In the EU, we have a vaccination passport that allows the dogs to travel between EU countries, and the vaccine validity is clearly recorded. My vet sticks a little note inside that says when the next vaccinations are due.
I still think it depends on your vet and the vaccines used. Where I live our last vaccination is done at 12 weeks but I know in other countries they have another round that happens at 16 weeks. It's best to ask the vet who did the immunisations.
