Oh swampy, I'm so very sorry to hear this. Moo was a one of a kind, and she'll live on in your stories. You've written a beautiful eulogy for her. The bond you had with her was beautiful to read about. Lots of hugs

Oh @SwampDonkey I have just read this and am crying for Moo - even though she had been ill for so long, she always seemed to turn a corner. It was a shock to see this. What a great life you gave her and she you. I am so very sorry and my thoughts are with you. Run free Moo .

The Empress’s wicked ways continue with the pounding of my head this morning after raising a glass to her last night.
Thinking of you all; even when we know it’s coming, it is still a shock. She will leave a disproportionate sized hole in your family and in the forum.
Sleep well, run free and continue to wreak havoc, wherever you may be x

She had a wonderful life with you! Over 14 years she has been with you, a lot of wonderful memories and anecdotes to tell. Please feel free to share them here on the forum when you feel the need.

I’ve only just seen this. I’m so sorry you’ve had to let your dear Moo go. She was obviously a very special girl - and you were her special person.

How can you say that you'll never forget a dog you've never event met? But I will never forget Empress Moo - her personality was already too big for her little body in life and certainly she'll take passing in her stride and not let that keep her from staying in the hearts of her beloved monkey butler and everyone else she touched in her family and around the world.

And to Swampy - your patience, grace, courage and humour throughout Moo's last months will also stay with me as the model of how to cope with the end that we all know is coming from the first day you bring that bundle of fluff into your life.

You saw Moo home and she's running free and happy, so today you're the one I'm thinking of.

I am so, so sorry. What a good run though, a long run. So much more for you to miss than some people get. I'm sorry.

Goodbye lovely Moo, was a pleasure to walk with you, I'm sorry it wasn't more often. And to you @SwampDonkey, the most difficult but important decision to make, sounds like you called it just right for her.
As I have struggled to get on to the site to post anything this morning, I like to think that Moo has ground the forum to a halt with all her adoring fans, I'm sure she would be laughing mischievously at the thought from over the rainbow bridge.

Love and hugs to you and Rory xxx
