that you didn't appreciate until you have a spaniel in the house: 1) Lab ears do not need grooming every 5 minutes to remove grass seeds, leaves, burrs etc 2) Lab ears do not get dipped in their dinner 8) 3) Having a lab or two around means your spaniels ears don't have dinner on them for long.... ;D

Re: 3 great things about labs... Haha, so funny!! My other half trained working cockers as gundogs before we got Poppy, and he is always telling me how much, much easier she is - calmer, quicker to learn, more laid back...
