Mums "disappearance" is bit suspicious though , don't you think?

 

What a good boy Fred is (look at his tail wagging away). I love a good tale or inter-species friendship.

 

Lovely story, special boy Fred.

 

I'm choosing to believe she met a dashing drake and they eloped off into the sunset.

 

Hmmmm.....Fred does look rather satisfied with himself doesn't he?

 

"Mr Goldsmith said he only expected Fred's babysitting services to last another few weeks, after which the ducklings will be free to stay at the castle or leave just the right size to fill a Labrador tummy."
