He just took himself outside for a wee! He toddled off to the back door and I followed him and he just weed and that sat and looked at me expectantly.

    That’s it, he’s obviously a genius :cwl:

He's adorable and yes - clearly a genius pup! :D

He's just so wrinkly and chunky and fuzzy that he doesn't hardly look real. For size as an adult, I'm thinking he's going to give @Rosie 's Pongo a run for his money. :)

Hmm the genius wore off. I had work today so he stayed at home with the other half who is obviously not quite as on the ball... 3 wees in the house today and apparently is hyper! I bet he missed nap time as well

Yup. Other half didn’t follow the written instructions I left for him. He’s crashed now apparently and I’m just on my way home lol

Definitely the case, we’ve had my brother and his wife and my two nephews (7yo and 4yo) staying for four days, so our routine with Pepper has gone out of the window, and the house always seems to be too noisy for him to settle.

And Pepper has turned into a silly little hyper monster! Roll on tomorrow when normality returns to life!

Still we can at least tick off socialisation with kids!

I only just saw this thread and have read it end-to-end. Maslow (or Hercules?) is just a gorgeous angel

My OH also doesn't follow instructions - it must be a global phenomenon

It was for this reason my oh is known as the "beast master" with my friends. He is a bit rubbish, funny but rubbish with the animals.

    I know.
I took him to my school yesterday just for an hour so he could explore and see where he will be based. He met 200 children (from a distance and no one was allowed to touch him), he walked up the corridor beautifully on a lead, had no accidents. Then had a nap in his crate at work. Sat every single time I asked him too.

OH then picks him up... then get a text saying he’s weed 3 times on the floor and he’s chewed the table leg.

He hasn’t even tried to put him down for a nap. The pup was in total morph mode. I came home, scooped him up and put him in his crate and he was comotose in seconds!

I tried soooo hard not to do smug face lol

    So... it’s day 5.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life! He’s adorable but god it’s just so constant. I thank my lucky stars he’s good in his crate or I don’t think I would get anything done at all. I haven’t brushed my hair for 2 days

OH has had a very important conference come up on the otherside of the country so he left at 6 this morning. He’s staying in a hotel for 2 nights. I swear I could have cried when he left. 2 nights of sleep. *insert relevant swear word*

And I’m not even convinced there is a conference - I think he’s just buggered off so he can get some sleep (in fairness I’m more annoyed I didn’t think of it first!!!!)

He Went to bed at 9 last night, woke him at 12 for a wee, he then woke at 3 for a wee and 5 for a poo.

    Gonna be a long day.
