I'd be grateful for any info about health risks when a 15 months old, 30.45kg boy has chewed a plastic Antstop bait station. It contains 0.05% w/w fipronil and had been in place for a week before he decided he should prise it out from under the heavy protective bricks.
I would phone your vet and ask for advice. They are usually low in toxicity, and if he’s not vomiting or had diorrhea or out of sorts he should be ok, but I would always double check with my vet to be on the safe side.
Ring your vet and they will speak to poisons unit. They may tell you various things but you needs to speak to them urgently have the box if you have it with the ingredients.
Yes, agree, speak to your vet urgently. I had a dog who ate one of these years ago after my neighbour threw them over my fence and all turned out fine but please don't take any chances.

Spoken to vet, received detail that the amount of fipronil in an ant bait station will, at worst, cause sickness and diarrhoea but given the size/weight is not likely to cause any problem at all. He doesn't need to see him - I'll be watching him like a hawk and will take him in if he starts vomiting etc.
Mine ate two. Horribly worried till talked to vet and found out he would have had to have eaten a whole lot for it to affect him. They put the fipronil in something like caro syrup so of course it tastes good. We had no symptoms. Glad all is fine so far. and hope it continues.

Simba got ahold of one of these the other day but fortunately my “leave it” worked and he dropped it. Phew. Good to know I don’t have to panic if he manages to get another one. The house we walked by had several put in their yard.
