Lacey Lulu 12/04/2008 - 22/08/2017

Lacey passed away on the 22/08/2017. She was such a sweet little girl, gone too soon. she was 9 when she passed. An honorary Labrador (Japanese Spitz) and such a good girl, always cuddled and being on someones lap and snuggling.

Lacey in the pool, we actually got her in! she hated water but this time she tried it out. This was the month she passed, she was not very well and kept collapsing on walks. She had heart failure and passed away peacefully in the vets with my parents.

Thank you everyone. She was a brilliant girl. She was my first dog that we actually kept (the first was an unruly puppy who didnt seem to settle, I was too young to remember him. And the second was a jack russel cross corgi who turned aggressive and bit my sister) when we got lacey I fell in love with her straight away. She was always well behaved, calm (exept when thunderstorms or fireworks happened) and welcomed my first labrador into the house (if a little begrudgingly at first! But who can blame her after 6 years of having us to herself?) Her and lucius were best friends from day one, and since Lucius was our first puppy since the last unruly puppy we were glad to see how she showed him how to behave. He loved her so much and her death was hard on him, he lay by her bed for a day and seemed very subdued.

Lucius was 3 months in this picture and had settled in well, lacey teaching him how to sit.

Laceys beautiful photo taken by professional photographer, you can tell he had food in his hand by those large eyes! By far my favourite picture of her!

She did have a very pretty face, when I told people how old she was people would say they thought she was a puppy. They thought my Labrador was older than her when infact she was seven years older than him
