    Hi,
My boy is awesome. Smart, gorgeous, and fun. He loves everything. People, cats, dogs unless they are younger than him. He is 7 months and at four months he growled at his first puppy and it has continued. I find this confusing as well as alarming as it is so unnatural. He is from a litter of 8 and all are well adjusted. I am afraid for our future. All input appreciated.
    Thank you

Growling means 'please go away', he is probably wary of a lively puppy. I wouldn't be worried. I am sure someone will come along with advice, I am just rushing to take OH for hospital appointment!

Twiglet was like this. No reason we could fathom. Her brother lived nearby and we envisioned lovely play dates. She hated him, we couldn’t let her near him. She was fine at puppy class where they are not allowed to play, but could only free run with older pups and dogs.

She’s grown up now and she’s absolutely fine. We never found out why, but maybe something happened in the litter? We dealt with it by keeping our distance from all younger pups or pups the same age.
