every now and again my lab pup get so excited it charges around house garden with its tail between its legs at about 100 miles a hour, I do fear for it safety doing this incase he charges into something and get hurt am I suppose to hold him calm till he settles or let him run it out ?

The little body shape they make, arched back, tail between the legs is so funny :D

We just laugh and let him run it out!

It’s amazing how quick Pepper goes. Just glad it’s summer and his zoomies are all outside in the garden and not indoors!

It is also called a Butt-Tuck. Seems to be more common in Lab pups than other breeds.

The zoomies. An expression of pure joy. Long may they continue. Butt-tucking around the garden & through the house. Or out & about. Love it.

It's sometimes called tail tucking. English bull terriers do it too. They run through fences and stuff though

Nope never just not as often. Rory had his full first zoomie attack on the park yesterday with his friend. It's the first time he's done it since Moo died. He's 5 nearly Moo did it until she was 14 so funny. Doug was just too dignified to zoomie......ner not really he would just go crazy in his uncoordinated way.

Even my "Duchess" Willow will zoomie on occasion! I love it - although you have to watch out when all three of them are at it :D
