Adrenal Cancer

is this common in labs my friend just found out his 6 year old yellow lab has it , is it hereditary

 

He just said he has an ultrasound on Monday ,may have tumors on the brain and liver

Like I said I was asking for a good friend of mine,I feel bad that he is going through this because it is a beautiful puppy and if anyone who has gone through something similar offer some advise , thank you for answering
