Hello from Esme’s dad. My beautiful 4 1/2 month blackLab decided to roll in the proverbial poo this morning on Stratford’s race course and is now rather smelly to say the least. Although she’s perfectly happy with a job well done. I know recently I have read about a spray or similar that comes in very handy in these circumstances on this site but can not find it now. Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi and welcome from me, Helen, Hattie 10 years and our rescue boy Charlie 7 years. I use Animalogic Fox Poo spot on shampoo, works a treat. You can buy it in Pets at Home :) x

I keep a small animalogic and water spray in the car so i can get to fox poo as quickly as possible.

Ketchup! Applied liberally and left on for 20 mins or so gets rid of the smell .

I never bath my dogs. If they are muddy I hose them down. If they are stinky I use Cowboy Magic then hose them down.

Bathing strips their natural oils and you end up with a viscous cycle - dog has no natural oils, needs bathing, oils removed, dog gets smelly etc.

    :)
