More fools them fetching up on a known dog friendly beach. Sounds like a great fun moment for the dogs and other (sensible) dog people though

Oh that is so so funny :cwl::cwl:

Hilarious - thank you so much for sharing, beautifully put! Especially the bit about the newspaper --- I could so so easily be that owner:)

    Love those stories.

This is one is perfect, but a video would have even made it better...

This will probably be us next week on holiday :)

When we took Monty on his first big beach holiday to Cornwall he had just turned one. His first experience of a big beach was at Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel. It was a busy sunday, loads of dogs and children .
The first thing he did was run into the sea, and then squat down and did a huge poo. OH was trying to pick it up but the waves kept lifting it up and pulling it out to sea.... towards a group of surfers. We got multiple looks of disgust from bystanders.

Then, after deciding to join a group of dogs at the other end of the beach, he came back and got involved with a large family group playing with a blow up ball. He charged right into the middle of their game and the ball went POP! And a child cried.
OH went over apologising profusely, the family were really good about it and said it had only cost a pound or so . OH only had a ten pound note so had to give them that to buy a new one. o_O

At this point I just hid behind some rocks and pretended they weren't with me. :D

When Tilly was younger we used to cross country ski with her. If she encountered a X country skier who had fallen, she would immediately go and lick their face. Most people appreciated it.

Was thinking this was a post about showing off Labs on the beach. I was wrong and this story was so good and much better. I can just picture it all going down in my head, tho they are in 1920s dress.
