    Hi all,

My poor husband. He appears under attack all of a sudden from our male 6 month lab. Whenever my hubbie goes near our puppy, he starts to home in on my husband nipping his thighs and trying to nip his hands or well anything really. I can’t call him or pull him away, pup becomes very wilful and won’t give up on my husband and it’s getting him down. It looks like pup is attacking my hubbie, and a few times pup has shown his top teeth. Is he trying to be the boss???

Pup is the same with my dad, instant on seeing him, wants to mouth / bite his hands and won’t stop, and yesterday my husbands male work colleague came to our house and the same happened to him? Is this a male thing?

Pup doesn’t do it to me or my mother and I’m wondering does anyone have a similar experience of this? How can you stop it? My hubbie is worn out trying to control him.

On a side note, I let him off the lead on a big village green, and notice he’s starting to ignore recall. Is it all part and parcel of his age? I’m not sure.

He’s a got a few more teeth to come out. Some say it maybe that, but I doubt it. Is it dominance? It’s a rollercoaster ride having a puppy that’s for sure!

    Cheers & thanks
