See I would totally do this. However I’m not sure I could sleep whilst Maslow was chewing me! Laying quietly next to me or on me only happens at 8pm onwards. Anytime prior to this he cuddles up and then pounces like some psychotic cat whose decided I’m made of dreamies. Not particulary conductive to a good nights sleep :D

To be fair I’m a lot better today, when he wouldn’t even go back in the crate without howling at 5am it was so much worse. Now I just have my sleep, then it was my kids, the Oh (who does extremely long hours driving on a motorway) - plus at least he’s contained till 6.30... at one point before, I was sitting on the sofa and Maslow was tugging on my dressing gown and I remember thinking ‘well this is ok, whilst he’s chewing me, he’s not barking and he’s not eating snails’ :D

:D The improvements sneak up on you. There'll be a time not far from now when you say to yourselves "golly, do you remember...?" Your comment about lying there in the wee small hours anticipating the whining brought it all back :)
Good luck with the exams, they'll be over soon too :celebrate:

@Leanne82 Just imagine, one day you will have a large full grown dog and sit and say "Oh, i wish he was a puppy, he was so cute!" I say this all the time, although secretly I remember he was a pain as a puppy, definatley hated the crate for a good month (as in he screamed the first night, and the night after, and the night after and the night after...)
