By now Ripple is probably cured - I hope! Max got this little red patch on his leg last night and by this morning he had licked it so much that it went very red and doubled in size. So off to the vet who took one look and said it is a fungus. We have to clean the patch with Betadine and apply Dermoval. Max is wearing a cone (which he is handlng rather well) and the patch is no longer red - after one application around 5 hours ago.

2 weeks application of Isoderm stopped the licking, so I assume the irritation, but his wasn't diagnosed as a fungus. The fur still hasn't grown back yet though.
I have also added cold pressed salmon oil to his diet as it is supposed to help with skin irritation and hopefully be good for the condition of his fur.
I hope Max make a quick recovery :).
